Squeaky, scratchy brakes

My right front brake pads are making a squeaky, scratchy sound when I brake. I removed the tire and saw that the brake pads are not worn down. Initially I thought the brake pads needed to be replaced but they seem to be fine. The rotors seem to be fine too. Does any one know why its making this noise and how to resolve the problem?

Do not double post please. Your other thread has been deleted.

The setup of your front pads end up squeeking for one of two reasons- either because the pads are worn down, or because of he shims- the metal backing plate between the pad and the caliper. Go to the auto store and check out the lube aisle. Pick up this assembly lube type stuff specifically for brakes (called disc brake quiet or something along thoes lines). The back of the package will guide you from here.
