**D1.5B (JDM) Help!! Please!**
 

Hi,
I am having so many problems I do not know where to start! I have a D1.5b (JDM) and I spun a rod bearing in cylinder one! The machine shop I took it to to get the crank turned etc... are great people and have helped me as much as they can but we are at a complete stand still. I A. can not find another company with good reputable reviews to get a replacement motor at (possible money saver) and B. IF WE COULD find pistons I'd have to hone (sp) the piston walls out .20mm over and replace the end caps and bearings along with turning the crank but am running into a stop. They said the specs for the end caps will come off of a d16y8 but the pistons// bearings// etc???? How can I get this motor back together right and semi stock again? Or a great place referral IE: JDM Eng Depot, Tiger?? that will actually have this motor in stock and in good cond! This car is a show car only.... I have a 1000 and a daughter so H/P is not really as must... hints me wanting to rebuild my semi stock JDM (AC// P/S a must)! Also, I am new to this mechanic thing but hit it and went in running! I did and am doing the swap by myself and have a certified mechanic over viewing me closely. (Making me learn:) ) Unfortunately no one has any answers for me! Jotech (yes no help) , Intercrew, Concept Racing.... Sooo... Easiest solution for me please please please... I have no one to answer these in depth questions!
