the heck is with my civic so i bought a 2000 civic si for a winter car from the original owner who was an older lady. i never thought anything of it at the time but the car has an auto trans in it, ive also got all the paper work of everything done to it from when it was purchased so for as much as i can tell it came from the factory with an auto in it. from my research i didn't think that si's came with autos so can anyone shed some light on this. not a big deal either way as i don't have plans for the car but im curious that's all. thanks. |
Re: the heck is with my civic dont quote on me, maybe theres some auto Si's around, but a 15 year car could have had any kind of life, including swapping parts from another car, or maybe the car was not an Si but converted to look like one... |
Re: the heck is with my civic Maybe Canada got Si with auto trans? Wouldn't 6th gens Canadian Si be the same as EX in the US? |
Re: the heck is with my civic so i had the vin and all the numbers on the car checked and according to what i got back the car is a factory si and the auto is original to the car right from factory.. dosent bother me because i never really planned to doing anything to it anyhow but odd just the same. i figured there would be some info out there on auto si's but everyone says they never existed well i guess that isn't the case at least in Canada. |
