Front Bumper Hanging?

Just barely my 1999 Honda civic coupe DX. The left side of the front bumper is hanging. So I looked at it and it seems the clip that is holding it isnt there anymore. I just wouldnt know where to find that clip. I went my local autozone and they told me, but it was the wrong one.. If you guys know the part number or anything like that it would be helpful.
thanks!:)

I am not 100% sure of what you mean by clips, but I have the general idea. The front bumper for you '99 sits on the frame (there are also metal slots that keep it in place) and when you open the hood there are punch "clips". I think your looking for the punch clips.

They look like this...

Measure the diameter of the holes that they go in and let me know. You can order them on amazon for cheap. Its better to get more then you need since they are cheap.

Re: Front Bumper Hanging?

smh ikr...

Well its looking like the metal clips that would be holding it. Mind taking off your bumper and snapping another photo. But put the photo on THIS thread please

Re: Front Bumper Hanging?

It might be possible that there are several clips all along it and you can move one from in between some others...I just totaled my car last week and had to futs around with the bumper clips to get at the back of my front plate...I had those in my hand and could have mailed you one for nothing...but now It's probably on it way to africa for auction

Those clips are just for the front of the bumper around the grille. He is looking for clips on the side fender near the wheel well. Believe it is metal... would have to take of my bumper to see

Re: Front Bumper Hanging?

looking at the picture the amazon clips wont work. what you need there is a plastic anchor that goes into the quarter panel and then a screw phillips/8m goes through the bumper and into the anchor when the screw goes in it expands the anchor into the fender bringing it close and snug.

you can simply just use a nut and bolt that fits through the bumper and fend just turn the wheels the opposite way so you get a lot of room.
