need info on civic 2004 4dr sedan exi hood molding trim

hi everybody,

can anyone help me to find an oem chrome hood molding trim/trunk for my civic 2004 4dr sedan exi ES8?
i searched the net and i found only 2001-2003 part that don't fit the 2004-2005.

if you have a website or a part number, i'll thank you so much.

The chrome moulding trim on the trunk? I thought 04 -05 was the same size as 01 - 03...

there is no hood molding on the 04-05.. and I think the trunk one should be the same..

Re: need info on civic 2004 4dr sedan exi hood molding trim

sorry if i made a mistake. the trunk is the same one :)
but the problem is the front one.
in some websites the trim fits only 2001-2003 models and when i check the installation instruction i find that there is a difference on the hood of 04 05 and 01-03.
my car :

I couldn't find any either, and I'm usually pretty good at finding things. May have to modify an '01-'03 trim piece or get generic chrome trim and modify to fit.

TY for the advice but I prefer a confirmed part for my Model. Is there any other ideas?

What country are you in? If you really want a genuine Honda product then just go to the dealership.

I think you're gonna have to modify an '01-'03 piece. The OEM online catalogs don't even list hood molding for '04-'05.

That sucks then man but like others have said your better off buying a replica or modifying the 01-03

you can only get the 04-05 chrome trims overseas at certain honda access dealers. the 01-03 rear chrome trim will not work. same with the front.
