02 Civic Engine light

My car is a 2002 Civic. Recently, the engine light turned on. I went to a garage to replace the rear sensor, but the engine light still come up after a couple of days' driving. The technician there said I may need to replace the front sensor as well but that is a rare case and not cheap. Any suggestions? Will the engine light stays off after I replaced the front sensor?

I did not ask. I think it's related to sensor problem. The technician replaced the sensor that controls the emission between the two rear tires.
Which mechanic can be broken?

that is an EVAP cannister code,

most likely the cannister control valve, i had that problem, you can replace the valve itself or the entire cannister with the valve

Re: 02 Civic Engine light

P1456 is an EVAP leak in the tank system. Lots of parts to guess at if one doesn't take a lot of time to evaluate several areas and items.

Loose or missing gas cap, leakage just about anywhere in the tank and canister system, solenoid (any) bad or won't close, there's a couple bulletins for obscure causes......

and a bad or restricted purge solenoid can cause the P1456 code too....there's a TSB on this for US cars.
