Im back, with a new ride. 5 Attachment(s) Hello friends, Its been a loooong time since I've been on here. Since 2011 to be exact. I had a rough outing my my car one day, and smashed up the front end of 2002 civic DX coupe. After that I shut down from the internet community. Since then, I have bought my first house, renovated it, gotten married, and tried to settle down a bit. That being said, Ive gone through some other cars, a couple mazda proteges, had a 1999 CRV with manual transmission that is now about to be scrapped. ANYWAY Im back with a new car, we just purchased a 2004 Acura EL (ilx in states?) with 172,000 km, in fantastic condition. It was owned by my wife's grandmother. features include, heated leather seats, power moonroof, heated mirrors, rear interior dome light and some other pretty cool add-ons Acura tossed in there. I will post some pictures soon, the car is bone stock. I just purchased a double din touch screen stereo for it, and the bezel and wiring kit to go along, that will be arriving soon. Plans to tint the windows. Plans to re finish the stock rims, I like them and don't really have the money / need to shell out cash for new rims. Anyway, thats enough for now, I will update with some pics soon! HERE ARE PICS AS PROMISED: As you can see, the front left (right in the pictures) turn signal (above the fog light) is damaged. It has had a crack for abut 7 years, and filled with water. Ill post a picture of the bulb I took out of it. It is FULL of water, and corroded the connections, sealing the bulb full of water. Actually kind of cool. Attachment 90774 Attachment 90775 Attachment 90776 Attachment 90777 AND here's the crazy sealed water filled bulb. pretty cool. Attachment 90778 |

Re: Im back, with a new ride. bump for images added. |
Re: Im back, with a new ride. Welcome back. The EL does look better then an Ex, except for the wood grain. |

Re: Im back, with a new ride. Welcome back! Wow, that bulb... Have you tried scrap yards? |
