O2 sensor good day all, Looking to replace my primary O2 sensor, and i am wondering if there is a preferred brand to go with. I was looking at the NGK. what does honda use? Can anyone assist please. Thanks |
Re: O2 sensor Only use NGK or Denso! Never Bosch! Idk which is OEM but both are good. |
Re: O2 sensor Thanks. |
Re: O2 sensor I just replaced mine with an OEM from Honda parts now for like $58. I couldn't find any parts shop in my area with the correct part in the right box. |
Re: O2 sensor Parts in the states are much cheaper, dealer o2 sensor here is $200 Canadian. |
Re: O2 sensor Damn that's a lot!! I've heard that car parts are more expensive in Canada. Its probably not much cheaper to order it online after shipping charges. The o2 sensors for 03-05 are more expensive then 01-02 because they are narrow band instead of wide band. |
Re: O2 sensor Am i ok waiting til mine goes bad before replacing? I just hit 100k miles and no engine error codes |

Re: O2 sensor that's why i am changing mine. |
Re: O2 sensor meh i picked up up a DENSO oem replacement wideband for 90 dollars at advanced auto of course the dealer wants 200 dollars. why would you pay $200 for dealer sensor when the identical plug is $90 at a parts store ??? |
Re: O2 sensor I replaced mine this morning and compared the 2 they where identical both made by NTK. Dealer wanted $200 for the part I got it for $50 at a local parts store. |
Re: O2 sensor Good deal! Any improvement in MPG's? |
Re: O2 sensor I only replaced it this morning, i will keep you posted as the weekend goes by. |
