Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan Will I be ok under the hood if Im running about 750 watts running from the amp to sub? Do I need to install everything first and see if the lights are dimming? Ive thought about doing The Big 3 upgrade but is that necessary?? I would like to hear from people who have had systems in their Civics :) thanks guys |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan Get it installed, then see if you need to upgrade anything. I am not running that much power but my lights don't dim and my alternator keeps up with a 250 Watt system. Maybe someone else is pushing that much power. |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan Only 750? You should be fine. What kind of audio equipment are you using? |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan well i run a strong 1000watt system and my lights dim here and there...mostly during idle of course lol..i'll uprgrade one day..maybe :sweet: |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan 750 should be fine as long as you're not clipping it. I would highly recommend the Big3 upgrade though |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan Cool, Ill just do The Big 3...just a Kicker CVX 12 |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan What does everyone think the max number of watts you can run is before you start running into problems? |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan im running a kenwood amp 500rms bridged at 4 ohms to two twelves and a alpine v-power at 70 rms x4 at 4 ohms. at frst the lights did dim i did a big three upgrade also a larger battery and a high fared capacitor ive since had no problems. |
Re: Putting a System in a 01 Civic Sedan did the big 3 & put in a Kenwood kdc x395 last weekend. where can i see pics of systems in 01 civics? |
