Front wheel hub is bent - safety risk?

Whats the best way to check for a bent wheel hub? Found out my left front wheel hub is a bit bent (according to my mech) but I want to double check it before I do anything. My mech said its going to be expensive to get a new hub and its not worth it - which i was a bit surprised to hear that. He said to cut the rotor instead, but then that would mean each time i get new rotors ill have to cut the one going on the left hub. He said if i dont cut the rotors the hub will get more bent, is that true? I dont know but cutting rotors sounds a bit odd to me.

Just want to get second opinions. Is this a safety risk to drive with a bent wheel hub (if I have one that is)? He said its not as long as you cut the rotor on it but i dont know.

I guess if you replace the rub i have to replace the bearing inside AND rubber seal and get a 4 wheel alignment after? Or can I use the bearing in my current hub in the new one because from calling around you have to get a HOnda OEM bearing to get the rubber seal on it. Aftermarket ones dont have the rubber seal and honda said the rubber seal is needed. True or they just bullshiting me? $151CDN for an OEM reused wheel bearing at my honda dealer. Yes thats right, reused "we just press them out and reuse them."
