In 2004 did Honda make a Civic SI?

I bought a 2004 Honda Civic SI (Canada). It says SI on the back and everything. I was researching a U.S. site and when I entered my vin it told me I had a 2dr EX. My engine in a 1.7L (not a 2.0L) but it baffles me that a lot of sites do not have the list option of a 2004 Honda Civic SI 1.7L.

Any ideas?

This site below is one of the many sites that is claiming this.

Canada also made a Si 2.0L in 2004 as well though.

The canadian SI is the american EX and the canadian SIR is the american SI.

The canadian SIR is the 2.0l 3 door hatchback (ep3).

Well doesn't si stand for sport injected? Lol.

Ya a 1.7L 127hp engine really isn't sporty to me.

I am fairly certain that si stands for si.

It's an acronym. Sport Injected is correct.

sport injected, lol. the injectors are for fuel economey and the vtec cross over cam profile isn't that agressive stock. for that matter it's not really that aggressive with boltons either.

Well, it's just a civic, and since si is faster i guess honda considers it sportier ;)
