05 civic ex headers & programmer

I was just wondering if the Apex VAFC II was a good programmer to get scene as it has a vtec controller and all that, and if not which would be the best one to get?

Also wanted to know if the DC sport racing headers which eliminate the cat would be the best way to go for performance.

Re: 05 civic ex headers & programmer

DO NOT order a DC Ceramic Race Header RIGHT NOW
BECAUSE
I ordered it from DEZOD and they screwed up my order, so i voided that and ordered it from PROCIVIC. They called me and informed me that DC Sports is merging with another company at the moment and has STOPPED PRODUCTION on that part. My header is now on back order until mid-june, my credit card has already been charged and i have already paid it off so i do not gain interest on it. My recommendation is to wait until mid-june to order that part.

As for performance, Customer Service at Dezod said to go DC Sports over Megan Racing (May be a personal preference); in case you were thinking of just a dc header with a megan test pipe; assuming you know you want to eliminate your cat. And i guess you already know your going to have to replace your cat for emmisions, (unless you get a free pass for your car being too low).

ANYONE HAVE ANY MORE INFORMATION / NEWS ON DC SPORTS MERGING BECAUSE THEIR SITE IS DOWN AND I'D LOVE TO HAVE UPDATES ON RESTARTING PRODUCTION?

Do you know anything about the Apex VAFC II programmer and how it performs?

not particularly, do a search. i believe i've heard some contradictions here and there about not being able to control the VTEC b/c of our ECU and a Standalone EMS is the way to go. Could be wrong.
