Aluminum splash shield covering oil pan name? What is the part name for the aluminum cover or shield that covers the oil pan? A few pins were left off and it was dragging the grade and now all bent up and I want to buy a replacement. What is this part called? Honda civic 2012 EX |

Re: Aluminum splash shield covering oil pan name? He just wants item #2 in the parts diagram above. Yes it's aluminum. 74114-TR0-A00 PLATE, FR. ENGINE COVER (LOWER) 14.57 Might want screws and clips #42 and #43, the panel used 4 of each so looksee what's left on the car. |

Figured I'd post the big piece. Unless #2 is actually 2' x 3', then I got nothin. I'ts been a hot minute since I've been underneath an 8thgen. |

Re: Aluminum splash shield covering oil pan name? Those covers are standard on 9ths, and earlier hybrids sported them. I ran over a blowing plastic grocery sack a while back, and when I stopped to check... remembered I now have immunity from bags melted to exhaust work. |
