trouble starting after temperature drop
 

Hello all.

I have a 2007 honda civic ex. Lately; in particular after a temperature drop my car has trouble turning over. This has been going on for a few weeks...thankfully haven't got stuck anywhere. When it started I had the original battery replaced. The problem persisted but it seems to only happen after a temperature drop.


I was thinking my next move is to change the spark plugs and wires.


What do you men and women think?

from a maintenance point of view changing spark plugs and wires
can be a good idea to do. along with checking the air filter. im just
curious as to what type of oil your using because on a Civic at least
on mine it calls for a viscosity of 5w20 oil I use synthetic 5w20 I find
especially in cold months on any vehicle it cranks the engine a little

esyer in -cold temps easyer on the battery too. and the engine tends to warm up a little quicker as well.

An 07 has Iridium plugs that are good for 100,000+ miles, and there are no plug wires (C.O.P. ignition).

It's already supposed to use 5w20, but 0w20 is also acceptable.

I forgot about that C.O.P. ignition (Cap On Plug) stuff

your right never do need changing this is what happens when someone

like my self has driven an old car from the mid 90"s that still had

wires.....:_doh:
