How to remove hub nuts to remove axle?

:help: :help: :help: Here's my problem..hopefullly some old skool honda mech can give me a idea ....I'm removing the transaxle on my 89 civic lx....The clutch is in serious need of replacement..but anyway...I am trying to remove the hub nuts to pull the axles and I can't get them off for shit....I have tried using a 2 foor breaker bar....even put the breaker bar under a jack and it just lifts the car  ...so I have always needed a impact gun...so I went out bought a gun and a compressor....and it still won't budge...I had the impact set on 90psi...and left it on there for 15 secs or so intervals..and nothing....I saw on some old crx forums of guys using 4 foot breaker to get theirs off...and others claim a impact gun should do it...any other suggestions....oh and I have pulled back the locks..or bent the tabs out.

Hit the nut with a torch for a min then quickly try the breaker bar.
