RSXS Sway Bar and some weird noises!!! Help!!!

just installed the rsxs sway bar on my ex coupe with a magnaflow cat back. its works well but turning right and swinging the rear out creates a creaking noise. i dont think its the exhaust cause there are no signs of hitting so im thinking i should just reinstall the bar as evenly as i can? does this sound right?

did it come with urethane or rubber bushings?

if it came with urethane...did you grease them? if not they squeek.

i put an EX front lower sway bar onto my LX and have noticed a creaking noise myself, i think its just due to a tighter fit on the chassis. i think the energy suspension bushing kit will releave some tension on the suspension and eliminate that creakin noise....but....
(1) im not sure if this product is available yet...
(2) im not sure if this product replaces that specific urethane bushing for the sway bar.....

I am thinking of getting the urethane bushings for it, right now i am using the honda rubber ones. i moved the bar over to the right more in hope of clearing my exhaust if that is what is creating this noise... so far, so good. but i have to say i think that it is do to the suspension being more reinforced and being able to travel less. thanks for the help and ill keep you guys updated, especially those with a 2.25 catback and thinking about this mod.

The noises you are hearing could be unnatural chassis flex. If you don't already have a rear lower tie-bar, this maybe a good time to get one.

thats probably whats going on...

your sway bar attaching to the endlink may be too loose, OR, too tight... torque it to 28 lb.ft will be good I think. and the mounting is about 16 lb.ft
