AEM Engine managment system, worth the cash? i recently installed an intake and full exhaust on my 2004 honda civc dx, i have not noticed much of a power difference, but there is better throttle response. i was wondering if anyone had experience with a engine managment system? i was looking at purchasing one but they are kind of pricy.. -Charles |
Re: AEM Engine managment system, worth the cash? not worth the few hp you get. those are for cars with engine swaps and turbo. |
Re: AEM Engine managment system, worth the cash? or maybe even if you just have bolt ons and a head swap with a hot cam, but even then it'd be a stretch. |
Re: AEM Engine managment system, worth the cash? AEM isn't really worth it unless you get it used.. K-pro on the other hand is great if you ever plan to do any serious mods. If you are just staying with bolt ons, don't bother with either. |
Re: AEM Engine managment system, worth the cash? what everyone else said. dont expect anything actually from ur civic with a CAI or exhaust... one or two hp gained is all ur gonna get...even if the butt dyno says u just increased 100hp |
Re: AEM Engine managment system, worth the cash? now i wouldn't quite say that. i dynoed an LX on k-pro at 121 with a short ram, y8 intake mani, and crappy frankenstein 3" exhaust. |
Re: AEM Engine managment system, worth the cash? if u got the money then do it other wise dont. |
