alright lern me up ok i just bought a 1998 civic lx and i dont know shit about imports im a chevy man but i got this car for 500$ so i cant go wrong it has 240k miles but runs great and no rust what im getting at is weres the free hp in these econo boxes can i play with timing? how effective is a cold air intake as opposed to a stock box with a k&n? how restricted is the stock exhust? what are the stock specs? any help will help but please keep your hatein to yourself |

Re: alright lern me up if you heard this thing run youd be suprised even compression on all 4 no knocks a tiny bit of valvetrain noise but i was told this is normal and it was owned by an old guy from mile 1 and drivin 50 miles to and 50 miles from work eveyday im gonna seafoam it tommarow change all fuids and do a basic tune up plugs wires cap rotor air oild and fuel filter and send it but i cant leave a car stock just cant do it! what is this vtec and do i have it i was told the ignition coil melts what more do i need to know? and it is a sedan |
