bad short ram
 
is a short ram intake bad for my car in any way?

i want to no before i buy one

no, it won't hurt your car at all - unless you break something on install. the most common thing that people worry about with intakes is getting large amounts of water in their motor, more often with cold air intakes as opposed to short rams because cai's tend to be a lot lower to the ground than short rams. you should be okay with a short ram though.

make sure everythings sealed, and watch out for the filter falling off sometimes lol. get a better quality filter too like aem.

guys i just want to make sure. im a young kid that works hard for not alot of money so when i buy something i want to make sure its right, i dont no much about this stuff. i want to learn but, how do you learn without asking questions!

buy generic brand everything.. thats my approach... i kno the young/limited funds/ idea... good luck

They are just getting on you cause you got to learn to use the search function. They encourage you to ask questions, but only if it is one that hasn't been answered already. Every ounce of info on intakes that has ever been thought about before has been covered a thousand times on this site. Don't be discouraged though, as you can see your question was answered anyway.
