jdm dc5 sidemarker
 

hi .. i bought some jdm honda oem sidemarker but when i got it in the mail i saw the work "STANLEY" on the side marker....:eek: are these really jdm sidemarker??? can someone help me out... are these real or fake? how can u tell too????

if you go to ebay and type in "JDM DC5 RSX CIVIC 02-05 Amber Side Markers w/ harness " u see the sidemarker i bought... thanks....:tongue:

STANLEY is a japanese company. and yes they are real.

all honda side markers are made by stanley

oh thank,... i did not noe that... now i can install them into my 04 civ =)

good luck. just get a drill and sheet metal nibbler from radioshack.

i got one... im using the rsx template.. but which way do i face the marker? n e opinions???

they're supposed to go a certain direction. go find an SI and see which way cause i cant remember

I just got a quick question, say they were not actual JDM side markers, but instead "JDM" and looked exactly the same, would you not have installed them?

Oh and and the raised side goes towards the back, so it should be sloping upwards as it nears your door.

i wouldn't either. there is a quality difference im sure, altho my dc5 are still leaking so who knows :)

Hmm, mine are fine lol.

well i use mine as daytime running lights too maybe thats why. and stupid humidity here does the rest.

just ordered the same kit you got man. how fast is shipping and what are u doing about the harness....i bought it and didnt realize it didnt come with one. i emailed passwordjdm.com asking them if they sell a harness

the harness is useless anyway. you cant use it unless you have a dc5-r.

fu<k! i just spent 30 bucks on a harness that wont even fit cuz its not the same as the dc5. damn i feel dumb.

how do you guys think our civic would come with a magical wire harness when the car doesnt even come with sidemarkers unless you buy it overseas?
