LoL, stupid dent..

Well i was driving along today with my friend, he saw some girl he likes and decided to reach over and punch my horn from the back seat. Well now the "H" in the middle of the stearing wheel has a dent in it, its pretty noticible. How do i go about removing this? lol.. :hithead:

juzthewy 09-21-2005 07:01 PM

lol haha sorry my friends would do something stupid like that.. buy an si or s2k steering wheel

civicvtec1ps 09-21-2005 07:55 PM

You can't remove it.
No way around fixing that dent.

streetglower 09-21-2005 08:00 PM

why should you have to do anything, make your stupid friend pay for it to be fixed.

xX03EXx 09-21-2005 10:48 PM

born2xLr8 09-22-2005 12:31 AM

Are they just flat stickers or do they look oem? Link for the lazy? :D

GEn0CiDe 09-22-2005 12:35 AM

yea, i was thinking about blowing the air bag then going to handa to make them fix the center lol. If worse comes to worse the sticker will work :P

LowSky 09-22-2005 01:22 AM

ebay can be your friend...

ebay sticker

steering wheel cover

or you can try handaaccessories.com

mradam85 09-24-2005 08:02 AM

i bought my car with the "H" dented, at first its annoying but you will get used to it

tchou 10-05-2005 03:11 PM

I got a huge dent too. I didn't realize it was an epidemic. I'm having trouble finding sickers (as I would rather not buy a whole cover).

The link given to the sticker auction, is actually a FLAT sticker. IOW: u put it on, and now you have a dented red emblem. Are there any other emblem sticker type auctions?

Any constructive feedback is appreciated.

acidbaby 10-05-2005 03:47 PM

dont mess with it!!! "airbag to face"
those stickers never quite fit right'//

honda860 10-05-2005 03:57 PM

manahoonie 10-05-2005 04:01 PM

lol. have him buy you a new steering wheel (Si or S2K), and from now on, he has to sit in the back seat, even when it's just the two of you in the car. :)

ramcosca 10-09-2005 08:01 PM

Heh, my logo has a dent AND some scratches...
My dad's a little... violent when driving.
Can't say anything, though. He's the one paying the car!

You don't want that dust all over the interior of your car, trust me. I have nightmares of how it tasted.

just like your signature says, you still have a lot to learn, such as not bumping old threads.

Not to be mean but...
Starting a thread asking a question that's already been answered = flame.
Bumping an old thread while searching for an answer so he/she won't get flamed for starting a new thread = flame.
How is anyone supposed to get any help from us?

To answer Electic's question...the do it yourself dent removal kits don't work well on the body and definitely won't wont on the emblem.

yea, i took that approach.

but anyways, a thread is still good to post in as long as its not expired yet right?
(btw, i still don't understand why threads expire....)

diskreet 02-11-2006 09:57 PM

:giggle: I am sorry that this has happened to you but its really funny even after all this time

fieryhill 02-11-2006 10:16 PM

erm I got angry one time and slapped the horn, and theres a dent on the cover above the H, barely noticeable....but yeah he searched and bascially i guess it didnt answer his question so i'm confused now, just pay to get a new one if it bothers you that much....
