Help! How do I adjust my windshield washer nozzles? 2004 civic coupe... they don't seem to adjust at all, is there a secret??? :hithead: |
get some sewing needles and you just stick them in where the water comes out and point them where you want them to shoot, its more or less a process of elimination game. or you can use a paper clip if its small enough to fit in the holes |
so what you got to do is adjust, then spray, if its spraying to far to the left for example, stick your needle in and more it to the right, spray again and see if you got it |
the new civic doesn't have these holes to stick the pins in! thanks for the advice, and that is the method i have used on all of my cars in the past, but the 04's have some strange slot that squirts the water, no holes. any ideas? :screwy: |
weird! |
This thread reminds me of a buddy of mine who twisted his washer nozzles to the right side of his accord......to make a short story even shorter, we had a great time with padestrians on the side of the road. |
^ thanks for the help! :hithead: |
my 02 has a slot...? i just took one of my ex girlfriends bobbypins and stuck that in the slot.. then just wiggled it around till the water went where i wanted it to... |
