what do u think

I have a 94 civic si hatch back so far I have:
( singel cam v-tech 1.6 liter)

-focuz header
-obx high flow catalytic converter
-2.25 piping/ revolution muffler
-intake (no name)
-10mm nology wires
-crane cams ignition HI-6
-venom VCN-400 control module

my question to you is how fast do you think that my 1/4 is cause do to the fact that i am missing a stud to hold my tire in I can't take it to the track other wise i would'nt be asking this question.

Since no one else has responded, I'm gonna guess anywhere between 15.9 and 18.0 seconds on the 1/4 mile. Prove me wrong.

By the way, it's VTEC, not V-TECH. Man, I hate it when people can't even spell that...................

it really does vary man- there is a lot of factors you have to take into account, outside temp, elevation, tire size and type, how many miles you have, weight, how well you can drive, and im guessing you havent upgraded your trans or suspension.

ive got tein coilovers on mine, im hoping to get a EDFC controller for it soon. your suspension plans seem good, just stay away from any sway bars because they will make the car too stiff and wont handle. umm just upgrade your clutch and flywheel and you should be good.

chuntaro 07-22-2003 11:28 AM

how much were your tein coil overs?

What idiot told you this?

sport compact car. most aftermarket sway bars are designed to be used in conjunction with your stock suspension, making it tighter and increasing handling. if you replace the suspension with a tighter one, you have no need for a stiffer sway bar because you already corrected the problem. the exception is, if you upgrade your suspension, and get a sway bar that was designed to work with it. but im talking about proper race setups here. like if you were actually going to auto cross your car and not just take it to a track in between driving it to work everyday. but thats just what ive read and been told. i dont know, makes sense to me. take it or leave it.

i think i paid around 1300$ for the tein coilovers, and the EDFC controller i think is about 400$ but i havent bought it yet.

Oh boy, this is gonna amuse me. You bought the SS coils right?
Just how exactly are you gonna run EDFC on those?
