If you want to get the majority of the fluid changed out, do this multiple times because each drain and fill only exchanges about 2.5 quarts and the trans holds a total of like 6 or 8 quarts. I'd say drain and fill the trans along with the next few oil changes for convenience. Make sure you have a funnel that will actually reach the fill hole before you drain the fluid! |
