Fuel pump & fuel pump module
 

HELP! I was told at the dealer that I'd need my 2003 civic ex fuel pump module AND gasket changed. Question is if the fuel pump module is the same as fuel pump? Im asking because i went to autozone and they only have the fuel pump. They dont have on file a fuel pump module or gasket. What parts do i need to buy and where can i buy them? THANK YOU!!

WHY? What is the problem with it?
Does it leak fuel?

Low pressure?What is the fuel pressure spec, and what is the actual fuel pressure?



I don't remember the last time I had to replace a Honda fuel pump.
These aren't GM pumps, these are damn reliable.




At a Honda dealer you are sold a "module" which is the complete housing assembly with the pump inside it.

I don't deal with aftermarket, I don't know what they will try to sell you.

Gasket is to be replaced whenever the unit is removed from the tank.
