It doesn't matter What coolant you use. But you should flush your coolant out every year.

Not every year...sorry that was a type o.. every 3 years is what I do

...for Civics 2001 and newer otherwise any coolant will do.

6th gen is every 3 years or 72 000 kms (45 000 miles) according to the owners manual
