How old do these spark plugs look? I know they arent expensive, just got the car and didn't see anything in the service records about the replacement of plugs. 06 ex at 112k, car runs fine, only get about 35mpg babying it. Pulled the plugs to check, the insulators have a white dust like coating around the base (ive never seen this, they arent stained either). Whats your opinions, are they original? http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...-11-48_187.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...0-11-04_55.jpg |
Re: How old do these spark plugs look? They are not originals. I think originals are denso. Plus there are cheap so just replace them bro. |

Re: How old do these spark plugs look? Look very old to me. Replace them with the same ones. I've never used anything other than NGK Iridium. They're great spark plugs, and everyone recommends them. |
Re: How old do these spark plugs look? you cant really tell by looking at them bcuz after a few thousand miles, they get crap on them and look like that (i know because ive taken them out after a few thousand miles before) it never hurts to replace them tho. |

Re: How old do these spark plugs look? NGK and DENSO are both used by honda and toyota and probably all japanese cars there the only two brands you will want to use in a honda.but the iridium plugs do get pricy. |
