Not sure what the problem is..... I own a 1997 Honda Civic LX. The other day in rush hour, I was at a red light when I heard a sputtering-type sound in the front end of the car. Upon the light turning green, I hit the gas and all I got was a revving sound, and the car did not move. I double checked that I had it in proper gear and that the emergency brake was disengaged, and everything was in its place. Throughout all of this, the car remained on---nothing died, it just wouldn't move at all. So, I had to get the car towed to my house in the middle of rush hour traffic---wasn't a happy camper! However, after that incident, the car seems to be running just fine. I have no idea what's going on, and I'm concerned that the same thing is going to happen again at the most inopportune time :hithead:.....any suggestions? Thanks. |
