95 civic ex manual trans. fluid

just wondering what other people use here for manual tranny fluid in a 95 ex. i looked up online and it says to use 10w40 oil. can i use synthetics? what oil do u all use? any suggestions are appreciated

I have a 2000 civic si and when i went to buy my oil for my tranny they gave me 10w30 full synthetic mobil1. i dnt think u have to use mobil 1 but thatz wat i used.
