Transmission Filter? I hope I am posting this in the right spot. My dad is currently working on a 1995 Civic EX, and for the life of both of us we can not find where the Trann filter is, and how to change it. Can anyone shed any light on where it is located and how to exstract it? Thanks. |
Re: Transmission Filter? If its anything like the 7th gen civics, its in the tranny itself, and isnt really serviceable. |
Re: Transmission Filter? thats because the trans filter doesnt exist on our cars. we only have: 1. air/cabin filter 2. fuel filter 3. intake filter 4. oil filter |
Re: Transmission Filter? So do the '95's have one or no? Thanks. |
Re: Transmission Filter? the 01+ has an internal filter that cannot be serviced. and yours is the same looks like, #4 is the strainer located inside the trans housing. no way to change it unless you do a rebuild and pull everything apart. this pic is for a 95 auto. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...SR80_ATM01.gif |
Re: Transmission Filter? How could you say that their is no trans filter, its like saying cars dont come with oil filters. |
