missfire plus crankcase pressure!need help

ok i have a 00 civic si with a greddy turbo.i just replaced the head gasket and overhauled the turbo.now just like before i have smoke and missfire.and for some reason the crankcase has enough pressure to blow the dipstick out of the hole.i replaced the pcv valve a few times, but the same crap keeps happening.any ideas?

PCV delete.... get the Endyn Catchcan system with the block plugs.

If you did a headgasket by yourself and turboed the car.... how hard can anything else be?
Its a couple lines coming out of the back of the block. You swap some fittings.

Excessive crankcase pressure is pushing oil past the rings, fouling the plugs, causing a misfire.....

This has happened to me twice & I almost lost my motor.....
I'm doing my headgasket at the moment as well. I took the stock pcv valve, drilled it out, & rigged a catch can system. The moisture from my leaky h/g caused the pcv system to clogg up & pressurize the crank case.

It sounds like you're still runing the stock pcv system!

from yur thread and mine i think we are going through the same problem.i just pray i didnt blow any other seals.so what did you use for a catch can?i heard you could use a lufa and an electrical box sealed with rtv.

True you can. I'm running a Jaz mini catch can from JEGS! Like 30-40 bucks
