Local Mechanic? Anyone know of a good shop in the Atlanta area. I'm looking to have a suspension set installed. Thanks |
do it yourself man, its easier than you think. All you need is one other person if that and a normal set of tools. Look at the DIY....its easy and your gonna save around $200 or more |
i would say do it yourself... thats what i did... but for future reference mainstream performance in powder springs is one of the best places to take a honda.... for almost any kind of aftermarket work |
I can usually figure things out pretty quickly and good at DIY type jobs. However, for someong that doesn't have a compressor and/or any experience installing springs/shocks/struts/chamber kits you still think it's better to DIY? I'm sure I could take everything apart, but it's the putting it all back together that worries me. Especially the spring/shocks setups. Maybe I could just have a shop compress them for me and I'll do the rest....? |
you dont need a spring compressor, i lowered my car and another car and didnt have any experience and i didnt need a compressor at all. If you follow the DIY carefully you wont have a problem at all, just make sure you get some pb blaster for those rusted bolts, it will make the job like 100 times easier...a breaker bar will help too camber kits you can get installed at a shop since you gonna need an alignment after you lower it...i wouldnt suggest doing the camber kit yourself |
Ok, sounds good. You convinced my weak mind...;) |
