Check out my recent install... didn't want to repost everything, so I just linked to the other thread... http://www.2k1civic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154620 |
Well my kit finally arrived. Looking real good. Thanks Chris. |
well i just found my new project to work on when ever i get back home. bumping so i can come back here quickly to get this kit. |
I didn't get to see, how much for the kit? What colors are availible? |
Finally got my Bridge Msport grounding kit installed. Initial impressions: No major HP gains of course but the engine does seem a bit more responsive and my but dyno suggests there is a little more kick. Most significant, there is far less static on my radio indicating the additional grounding works. As with every mod, it will prolly take a few weeks for the ecu to adjust fully. I installed the HKS hyper voltage thing about a month ago and it also definitely improved throttle response and auto shifting seems a bit quicker and smoother, although again no really notceable power gains. I'm please with the results. Sorry, no pics yet. |
Really good to hear that you like the kit, Oliver. Again, sorry about the delay in delivery. And Crackhead79, I offer Black, Silver, Red, and Blue... |
well PM a price and I'll take a black set---- |
Just out of curosity.... why is everyone removing the p/s pump to ground the alternator? There are two threaded holes on the opposite side of the alternator that you can use to hookup the ground wire and it takes like 30 seconds. That's what I did. Let me know what you guys think... maybe it's a good idea or maybe I don't know what I'm doing. |
Alright guys, for this week I have dropped the price to US$99 shipped any where in Canada or the continental US. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail; chris@carbonation.com My PayPal is under the same account. Please include your car, the color you would like, and your shipping address. Thanks guys... Is that block that all the wires connect to aluminum?? Do you know how poor aluminum is for conducting electrical current? |
Aluminum would be a far better conductor than steel, and won't coat the engine bay of your car with green shit when it corrodes... |
Copper is a better conductor than both, and if you're worried about corrosion and oxidation, gold plated steel would be an even better choice. |
I'll consider that for the Ferrari kit... :screwy: |
Dude, im not trying to piss anyone off or be a smart ass. I was just stating that there are better metals that could be used rather than aluminum because they conduct electricity better. |
The blocks I used are brass... |
The type of metal really won't matter much. Copper is probably the best, and the battery only has aluminum terminals I believe. Plus you're only doing the ground part and not power. So the circuit won't be any better. |
Actually, I think battery terminals are lead...but not sure.. |
doesn anoyone make a ground kit for our cars yet |
Good job man..... |
