First autoX question

Ok I am heading to my first meet sunday and the guys that go alot in this area are telling me to increase my tire pressure to 50psi. My tires say max is 40, they say that any less and my tires will start to roll over in the corners.

If Paradas are anything like AVS ES100s, which I'm sure there's enough similarity, set the fronts about 43, the rears about 45 and play with it from there. If you look at the tire, there's some arrows pointing to where the treadwear bars are. Mark the tire with shoepolish right there, your front tires are at about the right pressure when the tire is rolling to the tip of the arrow point. Adjust the rears by feel. If its plowing, add pressure, if its oversteering, remove pressure.

Oh... well then, start in the mid 40s. They should have a max of 51... or at least mine did. Mid 40s should do you fine, but don't plan on coming home with a square shoulder on the block.
