What I have done so far-
1) Top Engine gasket has been changed
2) Water pump has been changed
3) Radiator flushed and pressure tested - no leak
4) Radiator cap replaced

Still consuming water- getting worse now. After travelling about 40km, the temperature move up from normal to about 75%. Have to stop cAR AND CONTINUE JOURNEY WHEN ENGINECOOLS DOWN. I NOTICE THAT THE RESERVIOR IS OOZING OUT MY COOLANT

My Civic 1996 1.6 vtec seem to consume a glass of water weekly. There is no visible leak and the radiator cap has been changed but that does not solve the problem.

as for sound system it is :
JVC KD-R905. head deck.
speakers sub and amp all vibe black air speakers. getting 6' splits for front, 6' comps for back, 12inch vibe cbr sub with a monoblock built into the box, and a 4 channel amp to run the speakers.
i got the handy help of having a dad who was a machanic for 25 years, so he helps out heaps, he was also a mobile dj for partys, and he built and wired all his gear so he is also an auto electrision ; ).
just spent $380 on mine today to replace the passanger door, which had a nasty dint in it when i bought it and a new drivers seat belt as it was starting to frey.
would be good when we have our civics done to meet up you seem like a top bloke.

hey man, ill have to get the pics uploaded to post for you, as for the rims yeh i did my research and they were the best for me, they had the same in black and white and gold, i recon the black would be good for a full jdm look.

as for coilovers im not getting them just lowering it, i dont want my suspension to be rigid, talking to a guy who fits bags coilovers and springs, to lower and he strongly advised for street use to avoid coilovers, he said the suspension has no give therefore on bumpy roads its hell and going up speed humps and steep drive ways on angles will leave you with wheels dangling in the air. dunno if you know that just passing the info on.

um as for the air con, yes i do have it, i fabricated an extension for the bracket so the pipe sits a little further in and sits sweet, ill take the pics tomorow during the day and then post them for you to see.

As for the cold air intake im going to have it set up so the pod air filter is going to sit behind the front bumper so it is legal. should have it soon = )

i got a great price on these wheels the other day.

$1050 for them and good quality brand tires.

also getting my rocker cover painted dark gun meatal grey with a silver speckle for $60 by a mate.
also getting a full sound system for $1380 fitted which is pretty good.

but got to wait a few months before ill have enough money to do any of this

i been good, not much happening in the way of mod's, not untill i have some moneys to burn.... so maybe another week or two....
i did get a front strut brace however for 50 bucks off ebay including postage which went on like a dream = )
also took some pipeing out off the induction, which makes it a little louder and gives it a pod sound at higher rpm... just untill i get this aem cai.

hey man, have been spending alot of time at my local one stop mod shop, it hast acctualy opened yet but i know one of the guys there and now getting to know the rest of them, there opening day is this sat, been getting some really good prices off them, and through them. so when i have the money ill be getting started, my front strut brace should arive this friday or early next week anyway mate hope all is well, and it will be great to feed off eachother with ideas input and info, to help eachother out
