3rd gear problems

My 3rd gear seems to be going in only halfway after 4 rev...below 4 i can easily shift it in but after 4..it's like it doesn't want to go in kinda. Umm i do have Revo SS if that's any link to the problem. Not sure what to do or the problem is but...i was thinking i can put my stock one back on and take it to the dealer. Also my CEL is on due to my downpipe...if i take it back should i unplug it and replug the o2 sensor back in cuz i can drive around 30 miles without it being on or they won't care about that. Any help would be nice..thanks

I'd atleast put the stock shifter back in and tell them that the CEL is on from your downpipe.

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

Out of curiousity... is it only 3rd or is it all the odd gears? Only reason I ask is that if you have trouble with all the gears you have to push up to get into, it might be in the cables snagging or the shift linkage at the base of the shifter is loose. If it's just 3rd (and not 4th as well), then theres probably something internal thats causing the problem. Definately take the Revo off before going in.
