Anyone interested in Tech day? Inspired by the NorCal people.

It's just a little meet but at someone's house to install parts & a nice drive (if time permits).

When ?
-JULY 25th (Friday)
From 11am - 6pm
(DIY'ers need to come at 11am / The rest have been given specific times in PM's)

What kind of stuff can we do??
(DIY'ers noted in parenthesis)

-Intakes (ak, dj02, aferenz, DaZeD, iamboo, reflekt)
Someone bring a K&N filter cleaner...

-Spark Plugs (ak, dj02, iamboo)
DO NOT drop them

-Exhausts (no welding) / Axle-backs (aferenz,, nightkids, iamboo)
Make sure you have all the necessary bolts....count!

-Front-Rear Upper strut bar / RSX rear anti-sway bar / Rear Lower tie bars(ak, dj02,iamboo)

-Body kit installations (ak, TopFuel,iamboo)
Go to All American or Home Depot and buy: 3M Double Sided Tape Heavy duty 5lbs or greater.

-Clearing headlights (i have a heat gun too) (ak, nightkids1, TopFuel,iamboo, usafstud)
Buy 1 tube of "10.1 oz. Clear Silicone Window and Door Caulk" or "10.1 oz. Clear Window and Door Silicone Rubber Sealant" $3-5 each

-Painting headlights Like TopFuel / SurfinTower20BC (ak, TopFuel, SurfinTower20BC,iamboo, reflekt)
Any HIGH TEMPERATURE paint spray can $3-6 each + headlight clearing materials (look above)

-Taillights (ak, 75shot, iamboo)
Replacement only

-Grills (replacement)(ak, 75shot)
Replacement only

-Indiglow Gauges (ak)
a little bit of really thin double sided tape $2

-Booty call (ak, TopFuel, iamboo, komodomichie, reflekt)
Go to any local audio shop or ebay and buy any 6 or 7 tone alarm siren. Then go to any auto/electrical shop (or Radioshack) and buy at least 15ft of 18-22 gauge wiring. Now it's time to pick a switch from RadioShack You can pick any "push-button MOMENTARY switch" (MUST be momentary). $15-20 all together

-Painting / Repainting: Trim Pieces, Valve cover (ak, TopFuel,iamboo)
Go to Pep Boys and buy: (2) cans of Plasti Kote Import Color spray can (I think #4302 for honda silver... any color you want) & (1) can of any "clear lacquer" $10-12

-Shift boot (ak)

-Horn replacement (ak)
Go to Pep Boys or any local store and look for: FIAMM FREEWAY BLASTER - There is a LOW and HIGH tone one... buy whichever you want. I'm using a single LOW tone and it sounds good. You can buy 1 or 2... i recommend two $13-16/each
Or if you can buy air horns...

-Arm Rests (ak)

-Audio Installation / Tuning (amps, speakers, etc) (dj02, CantSeeMe, TopFuel-headunit-)
Bring your own wiring

-Springs / Coilovers (including Tein SS) (dj02, DaZeD-help-, 02NBPcivicEX, TopFuel, iamboo)
Spring compressor (Free at any auto shop) & Tie Rod Separetor

-Neons / Lightning (75shot, iamboo)
Bring your own wiring

-Shaving emblems (ak, 75shot, usafstud, iamboo)
Goo Gone & some soft towel

-Resetting "Main't Req Light" & "SRS" light (ak, iamboo)

-Revo Short Shifter (Svongkasem)

- NO SPEEDING/REVVING ENGINE/RACING (residential area....dont want the cops to kill tech day, do you?)
- It would be nice if Non-DIY'ers provided drinks & pitch in to buy food (like pizza)
- DIY'ers are NOT responsible for any damages done to your car. You (the owner of the car) agree that you will not sue the DIY'er
- iamboo(daniel) and ak(alex) are not responsible for anyone self-injured during tech day. Everything is done at your own risk...but we'll try to be as safe as possible. You get the point.
- DIY'ers agree that they will try not to f*ck up your car
