technically, it is easy to hack..but its resale value isnt nearly as high as its new value. stealing any part of it would mean that the person doing so would have to invest in automotive grade double sided tape. not hard to do, but not really worth a jackers time. but hey, they might just do it for sport.
Wait, let me get this straight, the oem kit is held on to your car by TAPE??!! Please correct me if im wrong, I dont know much about body kits, or installing them. If it IS just held on with tape, there is no danger in it falling off, or anything like that?

its not like scotch tape. its really strong double sided tape. The same stuff that keeps your side moldings on. and yes i believe the front and sides have brackets. It's a very strong adhesive and takes a few days to cure. I actually like the quality of the OEM kit better than alot of aftermarket kits available. AND if something were to happen...you can always take it up with honda.

I hear you, I'd bring it back to honda too.....f' the dealers, the guy probably didn't clean the car w/ alcohol before taping...i use that 3M tape daily at work and if it's prepared right, you are not getting it off

The kit should holds on pretty tightly. It's got bolts, screws and double-sided tape as an extra bonus. If someone was to try and jack it, they would have to either a.) brake it by just yanking it off or b.) stop, take their time and un bolt it.

yeah what's this about it not being screwed on? I have the kit, the front lip has like 7 screws, the sideskirts have 5 on each side, and i know the rear has at least 4. the double-sided tape is in ADDITION to the screws.
at least OEM kits stay on !!!!!!
I have it--- It is Awsome --- DIY and its stays mad tight
the kamarri and other aftermarket lip kit i heard starts to peal off quickly = not even jacking people, just pick up stuff off the ground
lol!!!!!!!
