Does ANYONE know the weight diff. between our stock hood and the CF hood?????????

Does ANYONE know the weight diff. between our stock hood and the CF hood?????????

does any of u guys out there know the diff. between the weight of our stock hood and the carbon fiber one?? i want to get a CF, but just wanted to know the weight diff. help if u guys can

not much of a diff I took off my stock hood to put the cf one on cuz i thought it was lighter and not to mention cf....the damn things felt like the same weight...this was APC's hood..If your looking for CF I can overlay the stock one for you, not to mention it will look a HELL of alot better then the CF one youll buy.....and you dont have to worry about latches braking, or screews not threading in...and the worst of all...FITMENT...sine you overlayed the stack hood fitment would be Perfect...I mean lets get real here...if you where that much into race...and worryed about weight...there wouldnt be one single panel in the car...lol

When i put my cf hood on it was a lot much lighter then my stock hood. As far as driving with it i dont think it makes that much of a differance. I think its more of a cosmetic mod.

Yeah, I love it when people try to lose some of the weight in their cars and then they put 2 or more 30 pound subs in thier cars...doesn't make sense

when u say overlay.........in other words ur going to paint the existing hood with a carbon fiber looking paint??? thas what u mean right? how much does that run?
