Its Official! West Coast meet in Vegas
Alright everyone. I found rooms at the Las Vegas Club Hotel for 39.95 a night. we will be there from 11th to the 13th. I hear that it is a great hotel. Its right next to the freemont experience where they have that big overhead screen with entertainment and stuff.. here is the link to book the room. I think we should all stay in the same hotel. it super cheap..
just sort by price and look for the Las Vegas club.

Rep Power: 0 how much time do you really need to figure out what we can do.. we have been talking back and forth about vegas for 2-3 weeks now.. If we cant find something to do in vegas than there is a major problem..

Rep Power: 0 Well, we would all need to get the whole weekend free, no work and no parties for anyone.
We would need to come up with the money for the rooms since mostly everyone here goes to school and pays bills that's always an issue, hell, I'm broke.
Not everyone will want to, or may not be able to do what others would like to do.
Anything we do is gonna cost a good amount.
Noting is free in vegas except looking.
So I think it's not as simple as saying, I'm going. Give everyone some more time and research Vegas a lil more to maybe get something for everyone to do. Then let them throw a dollar into the Vegas meet fund in their piggy banks and only then will this sound like a serious meet to me.

Ok heres tha deal people i wrote this e-mail to TheFranchiseGP:Hey what do you think about a vegas meet in september? it will be alot cooler.and most people seem like its too soon for them and seems like they need to save up.that way by september we could have like this huge caravan of civics mobbing vegas??just after reading the board it seems like no one is for sure they want to go except the 2 advisors for the meet.well get back to me and let me know what you think?

Rep Power: 0 i would keep the hotel location to pms if you want to be careful, plus i would take a 2nd thought about parking all of our cars, open season anyone? all i have to say, i would be down maybe for a same day cruise for me because im not about to leave my car vulnerable... anyways.... i need to break in my motor when i get it back, so ill keep the options open, im self employed so if there is no deadline then i should be good, but i also need to make sure the angel can get off work too..... !

Anyone 18 and up can (hate to say this) legally pay for a hotel. Oh yeah, I'd like to go but not on such short notice.
September sounds better, although if people are in school, that might not be good.

Im off everyweekend, wife put in for time off also....i dont know how the money situation will be but ill at least be up there that saturday. talk to the cali guys..they planed a nice meet at a park with cards, bbq, football, that would be good for the 18-20 year olds, and give me and the wife some food when we got there and give time for nap before going out that nite. check out some parks near the hotel and have peeps bring soem food maybe...i dont know its 2.47 here and im just rambling.

Rep Power: 403 well we should plan it as a schedual with lots of time... such as we need to know who is going, then get a sick group rate and if people are going to share rooms or somthing, then umm we could all just eat together at the buffets and go party to certain hotels or somthing...

Rep Power: 0 hey guys I live in vegas (all my life) and I have to tell you that I have never been to that hotel. I dont know how many of you have been to vegas before but fremont is not in the best neighborhood. staying there might be allright (since there is security in the garages) but I would suggest to you that you hold gatherings more to the west side of town ... we have lots of parks where kids can safely play, and the adults can congagate and swap storys.... just my opinion
