how can i remove my arm rest?

how can i remove my arm rest?

i havent tried it yet but ive gotta to get that damn thing off before i go mad. when its down i cant shift gears and when its up i cant reach my hand back there to get a drink without having to bend in uncomfortable ways. will it leave a hole or anything if i do it?

Yes, it will leave a whole if you do.......just get some aftermarket seats like me! lol

1. Unzip the fabric cover(from the bottom up)

2. Remove bolt on the side (14 or 17mm..forgot)

3. Remove remaining pieces

It's pretty straight forward once you remove that fabric cover.

oh yea, it does leave a hole plus the fabric cut in X shape.

then to add on.. get some decent seat covers and you don't have to worry about the hole plus hey you can sell me the armrest since I need one.

or just get a jig saw and have fun, or a torch, or a skill saw or a............

wait ive got it the Installing the Optional Armrest DIY all you have to do is reverse it

what are some relatively nice, yet cheap seat covers if i was wanting to spend from $50-$75?

i was wondering this too since it is really hard if you need to remove the center console with the armrest there

No not hard...just fold the driver seat all the way back.
