whistling noise in reverse

recently whenever i put my car in reverse i noticed that it makes this whistling noise. its not when i put it in any other gear, just when i have it in reverse and press the gas. i dont know if it matters, but my car is a manual transmission. does this happen to anyone else? how do i fix this problem?

ya im positive its a whistling noise. it sounds like its coming from the engine too, not the exhaust. i have no engine mods on my car, do you think this would be covered under warrenty? could it possibly be the reverse gear itself?
