My 02 EX was wrecked Saturday Afternoon
I was driving through a interscetion that I go through everyday Saturday about 1p.m. The next thing I remember is a paramedic is putting a neck coller on me. I don't remember a thing about the crash, but from what i heard from witnesses the girl that hit me ran the light. I have a concussion and some bruising but I'll be okay and the girl will be fine too.
I saw my car yesterday, it was hit on the left front side directly on the wheel, the car was a 92 Grand Marquis, the impact ripped the wheel loose from the frame and the axle was in the middle of the road from what the wrecker driver told me. The whole car is twisted, I have serious gaps where all the body panels meet up on all sides of the car. I hope they total it because I don't want it.
I'm going to get pics today and I'll try to post them tomorrow (Tuesday) or Wednesday.

Ouch dude that sucks. Get a lawyer and you will get about 3 times the cost of the your doctor bills in payback for pain and suffering. My lawyer got this deal for me from my accident in Atlanta when another 7thgen rearended me.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear that!
Irresponsible drivers....
I'm glad you're ok, and that you weren't seriously hurt.
But on another note, look at the bright side.............you're gonna get a new car,
and I would seriously look into an attorney, and sue the pants off of her!!!

Wow, that sucks. Damn, you can't remember the accident at all? That's freaky... Must have been a hell of an impact. You don't have side airbags, do you? I bet that would have prevented the concussion.

Thanks everyone for your replies, very nice to hear some positive things. I'm feeling much better now, I was a little "punchy" the last couple of days.
I'm not going to persue any legal action because the girl that ran the light wasn't drunk or on any drugs. She just took her eyes off the road for a second and made a real bad mistake. She has insurance plus she got a broken ankle and wrist from the ordeal, so I think thats enough.
I know in all the years I've been driving that a couple of times I've been distracted and it might have also caused a accident but didn't, but could have.
Just remember that a car; as much as we love it; can be replaced.

Dude, I wasn't going to pursue legal action either but her insurance company will try to rip you off in a split second. All the lawyer is there to do is to handle the bills. It doesn't cost you anything because her insurance has to pay for it.
I didn't sue the driver who hit me, but having a lawyer there to handle all of the paperwork is a very good idea. I had originally went to handle it myself but it got to be way too much and the other guy's insurance company decided they didn't want to pay. Once a lawyer shows up, they pony upthe dough because they don't want to be sued.
It's kind like having a body guard who no one wants to mess with.

Well I just got the news that my car is totaled, and I'll have a check by the end of the week. I'm going to e-mail Grey some photos of it for him to post for me.
