FP package?
well, at least you might have gotten out of it that it's not better in performance than the normal EM2. i "read" (and i guess it was a rumor, after all) that it has a 160 hp engine
yeah, that was probably a lie

Nah, that doesn't sound right, otherwise I would have read that somewhere I think. I'm guessing it's no different than our Si-G model up here in Canada, that comes fully loaded and all, you just have to buy the body kit extra, so I guess that's what it is up here after all.
"FP" means Factory Performance. This package includes the OEM non-aero body kit, 1" lowering springs, upgraded shocks, "FP" badges, and a spoiler and 15" alloy rims in some cases I think. It does not in any way affect engine performance despite what the magazines state (160-170hp test car they drove), just suspension and new looks. If it really did, then it was probably only for Japan or something, but the U.S. Civic FP packages do not have engine mods. IMO, like Gotti said a waste of money. It is for all trims I believe, but as far as getting it in Canada, maybe if they haven't already sold out, the FP packages were a limited run in the U.S. and there's already next to nothing left since Honda stopped making them. Also, I was told by the dealer that Honda doesn't even carry spare parts for the upgraded shocks they come with, so if it goes bad you'd have to go back to stock or get an aftermarket.
