Need opinion on my setup.. please thx ! Ok here's what i have
Current Setup:
2 alpine type S 12's SVC powered by MTX 4244 amp
(110W RMS X 2 (at 12V))
the subs can easily take 200RMS no problem (250 optimal i guess)
(at 12V, i think)
My question is..
if i just keep ONE Sub ... but give it like 250 RMS (basically it's max/a lot of power from a 2channel amp)
would that pound/sound nicer than my current setup?

Rep Power: 0 The sound quality would absolutely be better. An overpowered sub will always sound better then an underpowered one. Getting rid of one of your subs would be a good idea, though just getting a higher power amp would also help a lot.
