back windshied rattles*FIXED*

my back windshield rattles like crazy. i never used to pay any attention to it, but the last couple days, ive been driving with no radio, and its annoying as hell, it rattles even when im not going over a bump sometimes. did anybody get this fixed under warantee while having this problem, thanks

if you haven't had the windows tinted, then the dealer will look at it. if they were done, forget it... you're gonna have to fix it yourself. Get in the trunk and look up at the bottom of the rear deck. There should be SEVEN white pegs coming through the metal plate under the deck. if there isn't then this is the problem... the deck isn't seated and is bouncing up and down, probably hitting the window. That was the cause of my problem, and it happened after I had the windows done. If its not tint-disassembly related, I believe Honda is aware of the problem and how to fix it. Search around, I haven't seen this discussed in a while but it was beaten to death last fall, you should find some useful info.

thanks, my windows arent tinted, but ill bring it in to honda and see, ill look for those white pegs first though

i took it to honda today, after 4 test drives lol, they finally found and relieved the problem to a certain extent. it was the black box with the senser under the panel in the back that controls my rear defogger, it was hitting the panel and making such an annoying rattleing sound, so they padded it with foam and its mostly gone now. oh and they also resurfaced my rodors for free, i got 15,500 miles, kinda nice of them
