Arrow 5w20 Synthetic what brand do you use?

I got a quick question for all of you that use Synthetic oil, what brand do you use in your car and what do you think of the dif. from regular to synthetic?

btw: do you get your oil changed at the dealers (bring in your own oil....if so how many liters) or do you do it yourself (if so how hard is it)

Thanx

I just my oil change this past Sunday. The hardest part of the whole thing is removing the oil filter. I had to jackup the car and access from underneath. The stupid oil moneys on the dealership must have torqued the hell out of the filter. I went out and purchased an oil filter wrench socket so from now on I'll be able to get to the filter from the top of the engine.

Other than that, no propblems at all.

i am using AMSOIL full synthetic and it runs good.
it got it changed at my dad's friend shop and it required 4 litre of oil so i have 1 litre of spare (i bought 5)

the main difference is the fuel consumption, u can travel more with 1 full tank after switching to synthetic oil

i do recommended it but not sure if ppl want to spend $60+ for oil change.

also AMSOIL recommended u change oil every 12000-15000km with their full synthetic

Don't our cars require 3.2L LX and 3.4L Si? Not 4L?

Dude 4L is way to much! Verbal is totally right. If he overfilled it get some out. It's to some degree worse to have too much oil.

I just put Mobil-1 full synthetic. I used 5w30. 30 is the heat rating and your really not hurting it by using a higher temp oil. Maybe a tiny but thicker.

People always tighten filters too much. Tighten it so it's snug then a 1/4 turn. You should be able to get it off with your hand.
