my friends and i were gonna put on my 19s last night, but my g*d DAM*nED Kuyokugen lug nuts are stripped and rounded off on the lug itself.... so cant even get my 18s off right now... i sold them to my friend already.. so cuting them off really isnt an option since i cant afford to buy a new set... is there ANYTHING you guys know about... or has anyone had this problem with this brand of lug nuts before....???? i was thinking of heating them up and trying to like cut them off somehow, but i have velox vx-8s on there now, and they are recessed too far i think.... they lug nuts are made out a lighter material, i think aluminum, so maybe thats not a bad idea since they will melt before the wheel... but i might ruin the finish... ANYONE? ANYONE? BUELLER?

I've heard that you can pound a 12 sided socket onto the Kyukugens and crank them off. Only bad thing is you ruin the sockets. Get a bunch of Craftsman sockets.... Lifetime warranty (I think on the sockets, I know on the wrenches). Just don't return all the busted sockets at once.
You can also buy a nut and jbweld it to the end of the lug nut that's not gripping. let it cure totally (4-6 hours) and then apply your wrench to the new nut and they should come right off. This technique is used commonly to remove locking lug nuts when no key is available (and for stealing wheels).
hope this helps

I lost my lug lock key one time and also had a stripped lug.
I had to use a smaller socket and pound it onto the lug and the wrench it off that way.
It will trash the lug and the socket but it worked for me.
Most tire shops will do the same to remove lugs like that.
Best of luck.

thanx guys... called mackin industries and yelled at them.. they are custom making me a smaller wrench and sending it overnight with another regular one.. they say the wrench can somtimes strip, but NEVER the nuts due to the metal they use... i doubt it, but we'll see... a friend of mine actually has a tool for this exact prob, but takes time, so i can do that if needed... good news for me!!! and thanx for the help, now i can keep saving for turbo!!!!!
