Step 4:
Delicately pull back the tape. It is best to pull from the top right corner slowly, diagonally to the bottom left corner. DO NOT pull the tape towards you. Pull straight DOWN keeping the tape as close to the steering wheel as possible. If the decal wants to come off with the tape use your fingernail to guide it onto the badge.

) Thats cool... glad to see its catching on. I have a red one on my steering wheel. The guy from ebay was really cool. He even sent me a follow up email asking if I liked the product...

I got my yesterday and put it on right away. The only thing was that it wasn't big enough to cover everything, even after trying to stretch it, like it said. But it still looks good and I'm happy with it.

Hi guys, Adam here, just found this thread.
Nice writeup FlyRiceRacer02. Good work.
Judging by your pictures, it seems the 01 civic badge is a millimeter or two larger in size than the 02-03 civic si because i can still see a halo of black around the edge of the whole emblem.
Not bad looking, just different fit than on my 03'.
I'm wondering if its a perfect fit on the regular civic years 02-03.
Because it fits the 02-03 Si perfect.
To answer a couple of questions you do NOT have to worry about this decal peeling off or fading for at least 15 years because it's "high performance" vinyl (ie: the good, expensive kind). Even if you WANT to take it off, if its been on for a couple weeks you better get out that hair dryer to heat it up or else it wont come off.
And, if anyone has any questions email me: InfiniteParts77@aol.com
Thanks,
Adam

<<<if you add soapy water to the back of the decal before you apply it it will make it easier to remove any air bubles.>>>
not a good idea w/ this particular application.
if you use soapy water on the back, the decal will not adhere tightly enough to the emblem to allow removal of the application tape.
you don't want to use soapy water when working w/ very small, delicate pieces of vinyl.
