Installed my muffler! ** NEW PICS **
Look what I got installed today! :devil:
The quality of the pictures are **** but the exhaust looks real good. I even got them to angle the exhaust to the side and slightly upwards

Nice! is it the N1 exhaust? if u have ur muffler angled up too much water can get into it

Thanks guys. The muffler is made by Bomz Racing... it's a N1 Style muffler... real nice. And that's exactly what I was going for, the HKS look.

As for sound... it's not really that loud but I like it like that. It's definatly quieter then APR's Vibrant but I give it a month till it gets a little louder. And yes, it did come with a silencer.

It's not really loud. From inside the car with the radio off, you can slightly hear it when cruising around town normally.
I had to drive my mom to work today and she didn't even notice the sound difference, that's how quiet it is.

I bet in another 2-3 weeks the muffler will get louder though. I'll keep you guys updated.

Yeah... the heat hardens the fibreglass packing in the muffler and will absorb a lot less sound then when it's new and softer.

i want to see your car at the meet and listen to the sound of your muffler.
cuz i live in GTA and cops are all *** and give stupid ticket on exhaust.
i always like the angle muffler but i jsut dont want a too loud one.
and yours definitely looks like the HKS...mind telling me how much u pay for it?

The muffler itself cost me $125+tax ( $143.75 total ) and it came with a silencer.
I got my exhaust installed at Midas for $101.50

In total for the muffler and install cost me $245.25

I'll have some better pics of my exhaust later on today.

do midas have 2.25 inches custom pipe available?
or u just asked them to weld teh muffler on the stock pipe?

I got the muffler from a shop here in London called Racing Dimensions.
As for midas, I don't know if they do custom mid pipes... they just welded on a new axel back section for me.
